Well today has been a fabulous day! Actually it has been a great week. It all began Friday when Tyson got off work early! And by early I mean like 2 pm. He worked 7 am to 2 pm. This was so great especially since he has been working 7 am to 7 pm or later. Then on Saturday we had a great date day. We went for a run to the "Y," then hiked it and ran all the way down the "Y" to our house. It wasn't fun on the way up but the way down wasn't too bad. Man I love Summer, def. one of my favorite things. Oh and we followed it by going to one of our favorite restaurants...Chilies! We got an appetizer, main course, AND dessert. So much for all the calories we burned. Then yesterday I had totally forgotten to plan for dinner so I just threw some things in the crock pot and actually made up a pretty good meal! Then to top things off I woke up this morning to find out that one of my favorite foods are now available in Utah!
Kolaches are sooo yummy! Tyson introduced me to them in Houston and now they are available at a store in Salt Lake Called Johnny Kolaches
. I can't wait to try them. May not look completely appetizing but I promise you try one and you will be hooked! I think it is funny that their slogan is "The Best Kolaches in Utah" because pretty sure NO ONE else sells them. Now for more big news...
Lady Gaga is coming to concert March 19,2011! I am so excited! I want to go to the concert so bad and tickets go on sale this Saturday! I can't believe it, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world today. Oh and Tyson gets off work at 3:30 today :) Life doesn't get much better than this ;)
There must have been some glitch on my blog page b/c your blog hasn't been moving up our list of blogs whenever you post...hmmm...I'm not sure what's going on. I apologize I haven't been religious in my stalking of you due to the glitch. I will get it worked out so I can get back to stalking.
ReplyDeleteYou had one awesome weekend! The Y is a beast! Shane and I hiked it with my sister-in-law on sat. She had never been. So I take it you will be going to the Lady Gaga concert, or did I miss something?
