The wait is over! (maybe I obsess too much)

IT'S HERE!

FINALLY!
The 3rd and last installment of The Hunger Game Series was released this morning at midnight.  I am so excited to get my hands on a copy to read.  I have been waiting what seems like FOREVER to read this book (although it really has only been about 2 months).  I am literally OBSESSED with these books.  They are so addicting and everyone I meet I tell about this series and how they must read it!  I haven't met one person who hasn't enjoyed it.  I was checking out the reviews on Amazon at 6 am this morning and people have already read it and say it is the BEST BOOK YET!  Hearing this did not help in easing my eagerness to continuing reading the series and find out how it will end.  If you haven't read these books I highly recommend it.  They are easy reads but very entertaining.  When I am reading them I just can't put them down and that is saying something because I am not a person who enjoys reading.  I honestly cannot recall the last time I read a book besides this series.  I enjoy the Twilight movies but couldn't even get into those books.  Suzanne Collins is just such an amazing writer, I can't even explain it!  Here is the summary of the series: In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before -- and survival. -- Scholastic
I have to admit, after reading the summary I didn't know how much I would be able to get into this book, but I am so glad I did because it is amazing!  I am also very eager for the release of the MOVIE.  It is suppose to come out next year 2011, along with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides.  Next year is going to be an excellent year for movies.
