April 3

Today, Tyson and I went to another Dr.'s appointment.  Baby is doing well and has a strong heartbeat.  We were able to hear a heartbeat of 148 bpm.  This past week I have felt the baby moving.  It was pretty cool.  Tyson and I had gone laser tagging with some friends and after playing a couple of games, I could feel little flutters in my abdomen for about 30 sec.  It was something that I had never felt before but according to the dr.  what I felt is consistent with what movements a mother would first feel.  I personally think baby likes laser tagging as much as we do and he/she was sad that we were finished playing.  We are anxiously awaiting to find out if baby is a boy or a girl.  Tyson and I both think it is a girl, but who knows.  According to the poll, many of you agree.  We scheduled my 20 week appointment today.  We find out the sex of our baby and get to see the anatomy on April 3.  I am hoping to see only 10 fingers and toes and hope that all is well :)  It will be nice to refer to our baby as a he or a she instead of it!  Or even better yet...its name.  Yes, we have a name for both a boy and a girl (but those will be kept secret).  As you can tell, we are very excited and can't believe how fast time flies!  By the end of the month I will be half way through my pregnancy...CRAZY!
