Meet Tyson Joshua Beaman

Tyson Joshua Beaman
Born: August 17, 2012 @ 7:48 pm
7 lbs 3 oz; 19 inches

This cute boy finally arrived in our family.  We are so excited to have him here and love having him.  When I went to my doctor's appointment on Thursday, my blood pressure was still high and the doctor said it was too high for the baby and that I needed to be induced immediately.  I called Tyson and told him that we would be going to the hospital that day to get our baby here.  I met Tyson at our house at 3pm to head to hospital.  We took a couple of last family pics before baby and headed to Orem.  The doctor told me to prepare for a C-section but that they would attempt for a vaginal birth with medication.  After 24 hours of induction medication, T.J. was finally ready to arrive but we had to wait another hour for the doctor who was in an emergency C-Section to arrive.  T.J. arrived and had meconium that wasn't there prior to delivery so the NICU was called and the nurses began working on T.J. since mommy began hemorrhaging.  Needless to say, our room was quite chaotic, or so I heard (I was passed out).  Everything got under control but it was a little scary and it took me awhile to recover.  I am a little sad because I don't remember anything after his birth up until he was about 1 full day old.  I had lost a little over 3 pints of blood which is a lot and had a high fever with extremely low blood pressure so the doctor's were preparing me for a blood transfusion.  Our family is blessed and I know Heavenly Father took care of me because at the last minute, my body began an amazing recovery so I did not need the transfusion and I began regaining awareness of what was going on and I could spend time with my new baby.  I love him so much and he is a momma's boy so far.  We will see if it continues.  Tyson really wanted T.J. to be a mini Tyson and be his best bud, but I know there is still time for that.  Tyson is a great father already.  He has been such a great help and I love watching him be a dad.  He is such a natural!    I see a lot of Tyson in T.J.  he pulls a lot of the same expression faces as Tyson.  His hair is getting lighter and lighter everyday (maybe he will have blonde hair like Tyson).  He also has a lot of Tyson's facial features like his mouth and eye shape but he has my nose, skin color, and ears.  Here are some pics.  You can expect more soon!
