T.J. turns 5

On August 17 T.J. turned 5!  We had such a great time celebrating our grown up boy!  T.J. is such a smart boy!  He can read, write, and do math at a 1st grade level.  He is such a great friend and makes friends easily.  He is such a great helper and is always wanting to help out.  He has such a sweet heart and has been such a blessing in our lives.  Something about T.J. is that he is 5 years old and has yet to be on antibiotics!  This kid has an amazing immune system!

We celebrated T.J.'s special day by getting waffles at Waffle Love and then going swimming at Cowabunga Bay.  We then went home and had his dinner of choice...Noodle and tomato juice followed by his free birthday ice cream at Cold Stone.

On Saturday, we had a Pokemon birthday party and it was a blast.  Sweet T.J. invited 24 kids because he didn't want anyone to feel left out.  We had a great time doing a waterballoon toss to "catch" pokemon, we hunted for Pokemon eggs, played pin the tail on Pikachu and of course a pinata!  T.J. loved his Pokemon birthday and was so excited to have his 1st real "friends" party.  It was exhausting but I'm glad my sweet boy had a great special day!  He got so many great gifts, we are so lucky to have such great family and friends!
