While Tyson was in Hawaii, the boys and I went to our first Real Soccer game. It was raining and it was cold but both boys enjoyed the game. Spencer loved the band and T.J. liked watching the game.
My birthday was on October 6 so the boys and I went with my mom to the Petersen Farm Pumpkin patch. Spencer was not having it at first but got happier as the day went on. T.J. loved playing in the corn kernels but Spencer hated it! Maybe next year he will enjoy it :)
T.J. has been trying out new classes and tried out a karate class but decided he liked the parkour class more so he has been doing that and learning new skills. But here is a photo of him trying out karate.
At, T.J.'s school, they have a week long fall break so we headed to warmer weather and had a great vacation in St. George. We had so much fun and experienced a lot of new things. We went to Sandhallow and did paddle boarding. It was a blast! We definitely want to do it again and perhaps try an ATV on the sand dunes while we are there. We thought we would only be there for a couple hours and ended up staying ALL DAY! Spencer loved playing in the water! We couldn't keep him out of it! T.J. enjoyed going on the paddle board with Tyson and I. He can't wait until he can do it himself. We practically had the whole lake to ourselves which made it even better! Maybe a new fall break tradition has been started?
My mom found a cute farm that had fun Halloween things going on. It was by far the best Halloween thing we have done...EVER! They had so many fun and unique activities! Not only did they have all of the same activities as Cornbelly's plus some, but they were even better and it was MUCH cheaper which made it even better! If you have a chance, check out Staheli Farms in October...you won't be disappointed!
We also went so Crystal Mountain (don't follow GPS, it will take you to the wrong place, lol). We went to the wrong place at first but then eventually found where we wanted to go. This place is so fun for the little ones, they can cut "crystals" out of the mountain. T.J. didn't want to leave he loved finding his treasures and brought some home for his cousins and school teacher.
We also hunted for dinosaur tracks. They were a lot harder to spot than we thought but it was a fun hike and when we found the dinosaur prints it was pretty amazing to see.
While we were there, we wanted to make sure to take the boys to see the St. George temple and let them touch it. The temple there is so beautiful.
On our last night there, my mom took to Tuacahn to see "Mamma Mia!" it was my birthday present from her and I LOVED IT! I love Mamma Mia and I love Tuacahn so how do we not go?!? They did a fantastic job and I was glad I was able to go! Thanks mom for the great present!
As you can see we have been having a lot of fun and October is only half way through! I can't wait to see what else is in store! I sure love this family of mine!
