Caleb is 1 month old!

Our sweet little Caleb turned 1 month old on the 7th!  This past month has flown by!  But at the same time, I feel like Caleb has always been part of our family.  He has grown so much in the past month.  He is very alert now and has the prettiest eyes.  Because of his weekly weight checks, we were able to have updated stats on Caleb for his 1 month. 
At his appointment Caleb was:

• 19 inches tall
• 6 lbs 14 oz !!! This was a big deal!  He gained 7 oz in 1 week!  We were so proud and because of it he no longer has to have weight checks!  yay!

Caleb can sleep long stretches during the night.  I feed him before we go to bed and he wakes up once during the night (usually around 2) and he falls back to sleep easily.  Then he sleeps until 6-6:30ish.  This is great and I consider it sleeping through the night for a newborn.  I love that he is such a good sleeper.

Caleb loves to suck on pointer and middle finger.  It is so cute!

Around 8 pm every night, Caleb starts to get a little fussy.  We figured out its because he is ready for bed.  We put on his jammies and he is a happy camper.  He LOVES his jammies and if we aren't going anywhere during the day, I'll usually let him stay in his pj's and he loves it!  He is such an easy baby!  When its time for bed, I swaddle him in a swaddling blanket and he just snuggles right in and goes to sleep.  Such a good boy!

Caleb and his brothers just love each other its so sweet.  T.J. is always talking to Caleb and helping me take care of him.  I love it!  Spencer is also so sweet and is always giving Caleb kisses.  If Caleb ever cries Spencer is the first one to go check it out.  He will try giving him a pacifier or sharing his applesauce or sippy cup with him.  Caleb is so lucky to have such good big brothers.  I'm even luckier to have 3 sweet boys.  I must have done something right in my life to have them as my kids.  

Caleb we love you so much and are so happy to have you here.  You have brought so much joy to our family already and we can't imagine life without you.  We are excited to watch you grow and see the person you'll become.  But don't grow up too fast :) Thank you for choosing us to be your family.
