One Crazy, Busy, Fun Summer

This year marked mine and Tyson's 9 year anniversary!  In some ways it's hard to believe we've been married for 9 years but in others I can't imagine or remember life without Tyson.  Ever since we were dating I told Tyson that if Phantom of the Opera ever came back to Utah we would have to go.  This year it came back just in time for our anniversary!  We had great tickets, so close to the stage.  It was such a fun night and perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

Our actual anniversary was spent at Lagoon for Tyson's work party.  It was a fun day to ride rides and spend some one on one time with T.J.  We left the babies with grandma and had a great day of fun!

This summer we also had a family reunion with my side of the family in Downey, Idaho at Downata.  It was so much fun!  We love it there!  They have the best waterslides and it is so fun to relax and spend time with the family.  Here are some fun photos from the reunion.

On our way home from the reunion we stopped at my grandma's grave.  It was the first time I had been there in about 10 years so it was fun to show my family her grave and take a photo.  I miss my grandma and know she would just love my boys.  Although, I know she already knows them and I'm pretty sure she handpicked each one of them and sent them to us because they each have a part of her.  She sent T.J. to us with a love for animals and watching nature shows. Spencer was sent with red hair.  My grandma LOVED red heads.  We never thought we would have a red head, but we are so glad we do.  Spencer's red hair is adorable!  Caleb was due on my grandma's birthday.  He came 3 weeks early but came with curly hair.  Another hint that grandmas was involved.
We also stopped at the Logan temple and took some photos.  We love visiting temples on vacation and taking photos of our family there.
T.J. had an awesome Summer Swim season!  He made it to finals (Top 20) in the Swim Championships and took 16th Overall in the 6 and unders!  He was so excited that he earned a metal and we were so proud of his hard work.  We love watching him swim.  His current favorite stroke is the dolphin kick, which is preparing him for butterfly.  Watch out Michael Phelps, this stud is coming for you!
Once swimming ended, T.J. started club soccer.  He is growing so fast and is enjoying being active and busy.  He loves soccer and is very lucky to be on the team with his friend Clark.  Go Purple Fire!
Spencer went to the dentist for the first time this summer!  I swear this boy is going to be a dentist when he grows up!  He always has a toothbrush in his hand and loves to have his teeth brushed.  He was a little timid to sit in the chair but once they leaned him back and he could see Mickey Mouse on the TV he was laughing an doing awesome!  He did great with letting the assistant put fluoride on his teeth but wasn't too happy about the dentist "counting his teeth".  He did however enjoy sword fighting with the dentist with the mirrors and getting to go to the treasure box.
Some other highlights from the summer were going to the Hill Airforce museum with our friends the Jensens.  Spencer also got a haircut and sat my himself for the first time!
