This little leprechaun turned 7 months old today! There is no way my little boy could be closer to being 1 years old than being a newborn. I feel like it was just yesterday.
I love this boy so much! He is such a delight to have. I go through withdrawals when I am not holding him, little alone when I am not near him! Luckily I only have 26 days left of teaching before I get to be a stay-at-home mom. That is the type of impact this little guy has had on me. I always thought I would be a "career woman" but T.J. has changed that in me. Here are some stats from this past month:
- As you can see, T.J. is an expert at getting into the "plank" position, crawling is just around the corner
- He will hum himself to sleep (SO PRECIOUS!)
- He loves his dogs and when eating will push some of his food out of his mouth and turn to Sadie to have her lick it off...then he laughs. He has learned early how fun it is to feed the dogs.
- He loves to be outside. He loves the sun just like his momma.
- His favorite toys include: paper, wrappers, empty water bottles, and mom's toes. Who needs toys? This kid likes garbage!
- Is getting himself stuck in all sorts of strange places. Including: under the entertainment center and in between mom and dad's foot board and mattress (don't ask, horrible mom moment).
- Loves his friend Brecklyn. He loves having a friend his age and size to play with and by play I mean pat and stare at.
- T.J. is VERY vocal! He loves his talk, hum, and sing. When I get up to lead the music in Relief Society, he will stare and me and begin "singing" along. No joke! It is darling! He is a ward favorite, that's for sure. He has also learned to make a fart noise with his tongue...he is Tyson's son for sure!
- This month T.J. has broadened his horizons. He had some of a pancake, Texas Roadhouse Roll, and licorice. He loved it all! The licorice was messy but we couldn't resist.
This month has also brought the completion of our kitchen! It looks wonderful and I love it. We got in the granite countertops, added a bar, and barstools to complete the renovation. It is so nice to have a nice kitchen. Check it out! I am so proud of our DIY project.
