Spencer is now 17 months old and is no longer looking or acting like a baby. He is becoming a little boy and it makes me so sad that they grow so fast. Spencer loves his dogs and his best pal is Sadie. She is so good with him. He is always hugging her and giving her kisses. He loves to share his food with her and she is always happy to be the recipient of his kindness. Spencer's favorite place to sit is on Sadie. He is always sitting on her, laying on her, and climbing on her and she just loves the attention. I love the bond these two have.
Everyday when Tyson gets home from work, the boys get so excited for their daily wrestling. Spencer is finally big enough to join in and he loves it. They wear their dad out after a good 30+ minute wrestling session but it isn't enough for them so the boys continue to wrestle each other. T.J. is so good with his little brother. They love each other so much.
I have been terrible documenting much about this pregnancy and equally as bad at taking photos. This photo was taken at 30 weeks. It's hard to believe that this little one will be here in about 8 weeks (or so)! T.J. is very excited about his new little brother that will be joining us soon. Poor Spencer doesn't know what is about to hit him but I think he is picking up on something is about to change because he now loves to snuggle with me which he has never done. He isn't one for snuggles so I will not complain and take all the snuggles I can get!
This Easter was so much fun! I took the boys to an Easter Egg hunt at a local Nursing home and it was great! The boys had a blast! Spencer caught on to hunting for eggs and it was so fun to experience this with him for the first time. T.J. had a great time hunting for eggs with his friend Brayden and he got soooooooo much candy!
For Spring Break this year, we went on some fun adventures. Our favorite was going to "This Is The Place" Park and seeing the baby animal petting zoo. T.J. was in heaven playing with the baby chicks and petting all the animals. Spencer on the other hand wasn't thrilled. He HATED the baby chicks but loved the goats. He kept going up to the goats and giving them hugs. Needless to say, the boys were in desperate need of a bath once we got home!
T.J. got his first "shave" on our Spring Break adventure. He was really nervous and thought it was a real razor but he was really brave and was relieved when he found out at the end that it wasn't real. This boy is 5 going on 15!
For Easter, T.J. got a Build-A-Bear giftcard from Grandma J and he was so excited to go and build a Squirtle. This boy is a Pokemon fanatic!
Here are some fun photos of the boys from the past few months.
