December Happenings

December was a fun and busy month for our family.  Spencer started walking the 1st week in December and now he won't slow down.  He is getting into everything and loves his new independence.  He thinks he is so big and tries to go up and down our large stair case and has fell down it so now our stairs are off limit until he get a little bit older.  This photo is one of my favorites of him from this month.  He crawled under our entry hall table and got stuck.  I couldn't help but take a photo.

My dad took us to Benihana's, one of T.J.'s favorite restaurants.  He was so excited to get their shrimp.  He can't get enough of it.  Spencer enjoyed playing with his hat to play "peek a boo" and eating the fried rice.

The boys of course got to see Santa.  T.J. was so excited to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas this year.  He wanted robots, a spider robot, and an electric scooter but the sweet boy he is said he would be happy with whatever Santa wanted to give him.  Spencer wasn't thrilled to see Santa and didn't want to sit on his lap until he saw that Santa had jingle bells.  Then he would tolerate him.

Before Christmas, Tyson had a lot of time off so T.J. wanted to take him to the zoo.  Tyson hadn't ever come with us before except for Zoo Lights so it was fun exploring the zoo with him and seeing the new polar bears.  T.J. made friends with Tuah, the baby orangutan.  It was hilarious!

Christmas was such a fun time with family.  The boys must have been good because Santa brought T.J. everything on his list and gave Spencer a swing for the playground, a shopping cart, a toy drum with bells.  The boys were very happy with their gifts.

Over Christmas break, I took T.J. to the library for a drum class and he loved it.  He listened well and engaged with the instructor.

Here are some more fun pictures of Spencer.  He is always getting in to things.  He sure makes us smile.

Spencer loves Grandpa and his walker!
