2019 Happenings

In 2019 we made so many great memories and had some life changes. I don't have descriptions for all the photos but here are some fun photos and memories from the year.
2019 had some good memories but also brought some bad.  In February, my grandfather passed away.  We were so sad to lose him because we would miss him but we knew he would be excited to be with my grandma again.  He had spent the last few months of his life in a care center so I'm sure he was glad to be out of there.  T.J. gave an amazing talk about the Plan of Salvation that he wrote himself.  We had several people tell us how much they loved his talk and how impressed they were with him.  T.J. loved my grandpa.  They had a special bond and I'm sure it meant a lot to him to have T.J. speak.

In March, I took a leap of faith and decided to certify in Group Fitness.  I passed my test the first try and hit the ground running.  I certified in High Fitness, a format that I have loved for several years.  It was a long term dream to become a High Fitness Instructor.  I was grateful for Tyson's support in me getting certified.  I flew out to San Francisco for less than 24 hours to certify and it was worth it!  I have had such amazing support in getting my classes up and running.  Family and friends have also been great at coming to my classes to support me.

In April, we went to Texas to visit Tyson's family.  We had a great time visiting them and showing the kids where Tyson grew up.  We went to the Houston Zoo, Galveston, and took the kids to a Ninja park.  The kids had a blast with their cousins and playing in the Ocean.  We had to keep a close eye on Spencer because him being the daredevil he is, kept wanting to run into the Ocean.

We flew in to Dallas and then drove down to Houston.  On our way back, we stopped in Waco to visit Magnolia Grove, a bucket list item of mine.  It wasn't quiet what I imagined but it was so fun to finally be able to visit and cross it off my list of places I hope to visit.
In May, I was able to cross another visit off my list...Hawaii!  Tyson took me to Kauai for an early 10 year anniversary celebration.  It was everything and more than I imagined.  We had a great time being beach bums, snorkeling, biking along the beach, and eating delicious food!

We loved eating at Duke's.  The food was amazing and had such a fun atmosphere.  We highly recommend it and will be going back on our next visit to Kauai.

We kayaked the Wailua River and hiked to waterfalls.  It was really fun and we hope to take the boys back when they get older so that they can experience it.  We think they will love it just as much as us!
We also hiked and took a boat ride along the Napali coast.  It was beautiful!  We got lucky that when we visited we had a good view.  As we were leaving the fog was coming in and when it does, you can't see anything!  We hope to do a helicopter tour of the Napli coast on our next visit.

We also visited Queen's Bath and cliff jumped there.  It was so fun!  We will definitely be going there again!  It was one of the highlights of our trip.  We also can't wait to take the boys back there.  We know they will love it!

While we were in Hawaii, we were discussing moving to Florida.  It was a big decision for our family and we wanted to make the right choice.  After over a month long discussion, we decided that we would not be moving to Florida but that we would be moving.  When we got back, we started looking for a bigger house and put the home we had lived in for 7 years up for sale.

On June 7, Caleb turned 1!  We had a "Baby Shark" theme for his birthday party.  He loves the song and it was so fitting for his birthday party.

Probably the biggest present for Caleb was that we found out right before his party started that the offer we made on our dream home was accepted!  We were so excited for that news!   It was a great way to kick off the summer!

T.J. turned 7 and had a video game party.  Since we didn't know anyone in our new neighborhood, we invited all the kids in the new neighborhood and all the kids from the old neighborhood for one giant party!

In October we attended a Beaman Family Reunion in St.George.  Tyson had planned every detail and did a great job!  It was so much fun! I taught High Fitness classes to the family, we swam, went paddle boarding, and played lots of games.  We made memories that we will never forger!

Tyson had perfect timing for the family reunion, Garret ended up getting engages in 2019 and immediately after the family reunion we attended his wedding in Salt Lake. We love Maura and are so happy that she joined the Beaman family. In October, Baby Shark went on tour and naturally I had to take the boys.  They had so much fun and I loved that we were able to go and sing and dance!   In November, Spencer turned 3 and wanted to have his birthday party at Chick-fil-A.  He loves his chicken, french fries, and chick-fil-a sauce.  This kid is such a character!

In December, we went to Disneyland to celebrate and experience Christmas the Disney way!  We had a great time!  We were glad we were able to sneak this trip in.
