Pre School Graduation and Kindergarten Orientation

This month T.J. had his preschool graduation from Upstart.  It is a free online preschool that is offered here in Utah and it is AMAZING!  It is seriously the best preschool!  I was very happy with the program and T.J. learned more from his online preschool than his in person preschool.  It was hard work and he did it!  He finished the year reading at a beginning 1st grade level and math at the end of a 1st grade level!  He is my little smarty pants!

Then T.J.'s new school invited all the incoming Kindergartners to come to a welcoming assembly where they had the kids "walk the red carpet".  It was so cute!  I am so happy T.J. go in to American Preparatory Academy (APA).  It is such a good school and highly competitive to get in to.  We are blessed that I was able to help out there this year to secure him a spot.  They gave him homework for the summer to keep reading, writing, doing math, AND to learn CURSIVE!  I was in 3rd grade before I learned cursive.  I was shocked to hear they teach that in kindergarten.  They definitely set the bar high!  I can't wait to watch T.J. continue to learn and hope he thrives at APA.
