Spencer loved his cake! He insisted on eating it with a spoon but it was so cute! I think he was surprised no one was stopping him from eating the cake. Spencer was spoiled with so many great gifts. This boy sure is loved!
Before I took his birthday photos, Spencer got his first haircut and it makes him look so grown up!
From his grandma J, Spencer got Little Gym classes for his birthday and Christmas. He loves it! His favorite thing is the rings and when we play with the jingle bells. He is a pro at doing a forward roll and wheelbarrow. I love these classes. Its such a great way for us to bond together while doing something active.
1 Year Stats and Fun Facts:
- Spencer weighs 17 lbs 2 oz and is slightly under the 2nd percentile in weight and 29.3" tall and 30 percentile in height but is very healthy
- He now has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on bottom
- He takes steps and then when he realizes he is walking he bends down to crawl. It makes him a little nervous but he is gaining more confidence. Sometimes he will clap after he walks so he definitely knows its a good things to do.
- Spencer prefers to eat from adult utensils than his own. It's pretty funny!
- He can say Mom, Momma, Dada, he has his own version of T.J., Sadie, Papa (Grandpa), and red
- He knows the color red
- Spencer loves books! He likes to be read to or just look at them himself. He always go for the bookshelf and goes through the books
- He loves music and will dance anytime music come on
- Spencer loves to play in the bath and gets mad when we make him get out
- We call Spencer him our bottomless pit because he is ALWAYS hungry!
- He loves putting things in places and taking them out. He has a wagon that he pushes around and collects things in it.
We love you Spencer and are so happy to have you in our family! I wish you could stay little forever but it is so fun watching you grow. I'm sure going to miss these days so I'm soaking them in as much as possible because I know how fast it goes.
