Today, my poor kitty, Hunter, had to have surgery. My mom noticed a strange liquid coming from his head. I immediatly called my favorite vet (East Valley Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Lynette is AWESOME!) and they were able to get him in to see what was wrong. He had a fever of 104 degrees and two large absesses in his head. They had to shave his head, where they found a large gash in his head (we have no idea where it came from). They immediatly put him under, put in a tube, and began draining the infection. He has to have the tube in until Friday, then I will drive up to Salt Lake and take him in to get the tube out. I am glad we were able to get him in today because if we weren't able to get him in today, he might not have made it :( I love my Hunter. He is such a good cat. Now he has to have a pain killer shot twice a day and antibiotics twice a day. I have a great family that is able to watch out for him while I am living in Provo. My mom took him into the vet and takes care of him everyday and noticed the fluid and now has to give him his medicine and my brother went and visited him today while my mom was at work to make sure he is okay.
