The end of January we went to Disneyland for my Cheerleader's Competition. This was Spencer's first trip and he did great! Everyone was so impressed with him on the plane. He didn't cry once! He just snuggled in and went to sleep. I wish I could say that he loved Disneyland and Universal Studios but I don't think he was thrilled. It was pretty cold and he was in his stroller a lot so who can blame him?
Spencer's first ride was the Toy Story Mania in California adventure. I think he was overwhelmed with everything in Disneyland but he did like the rides.
T.J. loved that he was tall enough for pretty much all of the rides. He rode Splash Mountain in the front row twice in a row and he got soaked! Being wet didn't bother him though, he thought it was pretty cool.
T.J.'s favorite ride was Hyperspace Mountain. He had never been on it before because he wasn't tall enough but this year he was and he loved it! He rode it 5 times in a row and still wanted to ride it more! I don't know how he did it and still wanted to ride more. He even rode front row and didn't get scared! Such a little dare devil!
This year, T.J. was able to do the Jedi training. I was at my cheer competition and had to miss it but he had a lot of fun and I think he is a cute little Jedi. They said his Jedi power was his smile. It was the dark side's weakness. I believe it, check out that sweet smile. It would make anyone powerless.
While we were in California, we went to Universal Studios and went to Harry Potter World, T.J. got to go a pick out a wand of his very own and they dressed him up as a wizard. He is such a cute wizard I actually thought about reading Harry Potter after seeing how much he enjoyed it.
On our last day at Disney, Spencer got to meet Mickey. It was very late and both boys were exhausted but it was great to get a family pic with Mickey to remember Spencer's first time at Disneyland.
While we were in California, Spencer also got to meet some of his cousins for the first time, including Kash. Both babies were sleeping during most of the time at Disneyland but we still got a picture of them together. Spencer also got to see his uncle Jake's kids. They happen to be staying at the same hotel as us. They were so excited to see and meet baby Spencer. It was a great trip but Spencer was sure ready to get home and be in his own bed. He didn't sleep very well at the hotel. I hope we didn't traumatize him with traveling.
This is my last year coaching and I ended my coaching career on a high note. My team took 2nd in the Nation in Game Day. I was so proud. They did a great job!
