Spencer became really aware of his surroundings. He likes to look at everything and take it in. Whether it is a book, song, lights, or anything else he is very observant. He however doesn't seem to care very much about the dogs but boy do they love him! Especially Molly, she is always wanting to lay right next to him. When he is laying on the couch and I let her in from outside, she always runs right to him and gives him kisses. I had to get a photo of this sweet boy smiling with Molly cuddling next to him. Take notice of the lego car that T.J. made for Spencer. He sure has a caring brother.

Spencer has grown so much this past month. He has gotten really good at tummy time and exercising. He does a great job at keeping himself entertained on his play mat. His ability to grab things has surprised me. Yesterday at church he played with his ball rattle for a long time without dropping it. He was able to shake it to have it make noise and everything. I would have to say though that his favorite thing to grab is my hair! He always grabs it. Or when I am nursing him, he will grab my shirt. It amazes me how fast he is developing. Spencer has also mastered making bubbles. He always has a bubble production going on. He is also working hard at his communication skills. I think that he will be an early talker because he is always cooing at us when we talk to him; like he is trying to communicate back. I have started to work with him on sign language because he is trying to communicate I want to help him. We love to hear all that Spencer has to say. He recognizes mine and Tyson's voices even over the phone and will react to our voices. He will coo at Tyson and starts to fuss when he hears me. Spencer has also developed a love for his first and loves to suck on it. If he wants to suck he wants his fist or mommy. That boy loves to nurse and is such a momma's boy! When he hears my voice he wants me. I also have to add that he is still a snuggle bug and we love it! It is mommy and daddy's weakness. We never turn down Spencer snuggles and it sure makes it hard to get stuff done but it can all wait, he is only little for so long. We love you Spencer!
