I've been so worried that because I was so terrible at blogging for so long I didn't document some of the many funny things T.J. says. I wanted to document a couple that I was thinking about before I forget.
Before he could really talk, whenever he would see a firetruck, police car, or ambulance he would always call them we-o-we-o's which turned into all cars were "we-o we-o's" it was so cute! I remember one day I was in the kitchen and he ran in so excited yelling "we-o we-o's, we-o we-o's!" and then he ran into the living room. We live on a cul-de-sac so I was confused why he was saying it but sure enough, in front of our house was a firetruck, ambulance, and several police cars. Someone had slipped on the neighbor's sidewalk and the paramedics were there helping them. T.J. was so excited and sat an watched them for like an hour. It was so cute. He loved cars from such an early age.
Currently, one of my favorites is when I ask him what he wants for lunch. It is usually "Pizza, Pizza" (Little Caesars). The funny thing is we hardly ever go there but he saw a commercial and he calls it "Pizza, Pizza." This boy loves pizza and his favorite is Pepperoni without the pepperoni 😄 then when I reply with "you mean cheese?" he says "no, pepperoni without the pepperoni." This kid cracks me up!
Another current favorite right now is he will say "I love you to infinity and begone" lol he really means to infinity and beyond but its still cute.
On another note, yesterday I picked up T.J's kindergarten orientation packet! I can't believe he is starting school this fall! He will be attending American Preparatory Academy. It is such a great school so of course it makes it a hard school to get in to. We were so blessed that I was able to get a job there helping with their newsletter once a week so that he could get in and now Spencer will be able to go there too. T.J. loves learning and is a smart cookie. In October, he started to learn how to read and has gotten really good at it. He can count to 50 and can also add and subtract. It is so fun watching him grow and I love listening to him read.
Some things about T.J.:
-He started to learn to swim last summer and is doing a great job. We just resigned him up and he loves it!
-T.J. loves soccer and is excited for Spring Soccer to start. He is excited to get to play with his friend Clark again
-T.J. also has some awesome moves! We have dance parties in our kitchen on a regular basis and this is one proud mommy of his moves!
-Recently, T.J. has developed an interest in dinosaurs and is amazing me with his sponge-like memory. He can tell you everything there is to know about dinosaurs. He likes to watch this show called "Dino Dan" and to read dinosaur books and between the two he is a dinosaur expert and is always sharing with me dinosaur information. Although I am sad that he is growing up so fast, I can't wait to see how he applies himself at school.
T.J. is such a sweet boy and good big brother. I hope he knows how much we love him although now he has to share his mom and dad with Spencer.
